Set up the NCheck server on your own machine.

Install the server on Windows or as a Docker image, configure it, register devices and take the first check-in — all inside your own network. 30-day server trial.

NCheck on-premises server with check-in devices

Four steps to the first check-in

  1. Install the server

Check the requirements — Windows 8 or higher, 8 GB RAM, 1.5 GB free disk and a webcam, or Linux via Docker — then download the server from the downloads page and run the installer.

  2. Configure the server

Open the Control Panel from the system-tray icon or in a browser at https://localhost:8443 (default login admin / admin). Add employees in User Management and enrol face, fingerprint or iris data.

  3. Register client devices

Install the Attend or Admin client and select On-premises mode. Create a registration token under Register devices, enter it in the app, then activate with your licence file (internet needed once).

  4. Mark attendance

Employees check in on the server device or any registered client. Cameras and scanners are detected automatically; every record appears in Control Panel → Event Log.
